Terms & Conditions / Liability Waiver

By purchasing a Pittsburgh Rogue Runners (PRR) membership and checking the box next to my name, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in PRR group runs, walks, volunteering, youth activities, training sessions, and social events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, physical exertion, uneven surfaces, traffic interactions, and weather conditions. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Pittsburgh Rogue Runners to obtain or provide emergency medical treatment for me or my minor child if I am unable to do so.

I certify that I am medically able to participate to the extent of my abilities and will only engage in PRR activities in a manner that is safe for me.

Rules & Conduct

I agree to follow all PRR rules, guidelines, and instructions. I understand that PRR officials may deny, limit, or suspend participation if safety or group well-being is impacted.

I understand that certain items—such as bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, inline skates, personal music players, and animals—are restricted or prohibited during PRR activities.

Youth Participation (Minors)

PRR welcomes youth participants. For any participant under 18 years old:

  • A parent or legal guardian must complete this agreement on the minor’s behalf.

  • For our Power of Yet Youth Division, both the minor and the supervising parent/guardian must have active, paid PRR memberships.

  • Power of Yet Youth members must supervised by their parent/guardian or an adult designated by the parent/guardian during PRR activities, unless PRR clearly communicates otherwise for a specific event.

  • The parent/guardian assumes full responsibility and all risks of participation on behalf of the minor.

  • This waiver and release applies to both the minor participant and the parent/guardian.

Media Release

I grant permission to Pittsburgh Rogue Runners to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, or other media captured during PRR activities for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, without compensation.

In consideration of my membership and participation, I, for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, waive and release:

Pittsburgh Rogue Runners, the City of Pittsburgh, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Road Runners Club of America, PRR officers, volunteers, event hosts, sponsors, representatives, and successors from any and all claims or liabilities arising out of my participation in any PRR activity—even if caused by negligence. I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to these terms.
