Terms & Conditions / Liability Waiver

By purchasing a Pittsburgh Rogue Runners (PRR) membership and checking the box next to my name, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in PRR group runs, walks, youth activities, training sessions, and social events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, physical exertion, uneven surfaces, traffic interactions, and weather conditions.

I certify that I am medically able to participate to the extent of my abilities and will only engage in PRR activities in a manner that is safe for me.

Rules & Conduct

I agree to follow all PRR rules, guidelines, and instructions. I understand that PRR officials may deny, limit, or suspend participation if safety or group well-being is impacted.

I understand that certain items—such as bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, inline skates, personal music players, and animals—may be restricted or prohibited during PRR activities unless otherwise approved by PRR leadership.

Youth Participation (Minors)

PRR welcomes youth participants. For any participant under 18 years old:

• A parent or legal guardian must complete this agreement on the minor’s behalf.

• Both the minor and the supervising parent/guardian must have active, paid PRR memberships.

• Minors must be directly supervised by their parent/guardian or an adult designated by the parent/guardian during PRR activities, unless PRR clearly communicates otherwise for a specific event.

• The parent/guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation and safety.

Waiver & Release

Pittsburgh Rogue Runners, the City of Pittsburgh, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Road Runners Club of America, PRR officers, volunteers, event hosts, sponsors, representatives, and successors from any and all claims or liabilities arising out of my participation—even if caused by negligence.
